Mountain bikers are in essence "tin can" shooters compared to real
racers. If they competed on standardized courses then measurements
of ability could be taken. But riding, boasting, and just disturbing
the outdoors brands many of them as "lumpen proletarian". My apologies
to those who are responsible and true competitive athletes.
