It's likely because of the way how the curl library was built. My git is
current from its own git repository, but it didn't change much since 1.5.0.

Yes, I can.

It's fine now. Thank you!

FW: ioctl[unknown???]: No such file or directory

Author: Nazeer Khan

Hi,

Just want to give a little more information abt what i am doing. Actually
i am running hostapd on two machines. On one i am generating the keys and
sending the key and mac addr to another machine. Then i give this key to
function,

"hostapd_set_encryption(struct hostapd_data *hapd, const char *alg, u8
*addr, int idx, u8 *key, size_t key_len)"

I am sending all the parameters from remote computer except "hapd" which
is already there. But i get the error from

static int
set80211priv(struct madwifi_driver_data *drv, int op, void *data, int len)

Which is called by "madwifi_set_key".

I can't understand, when is generated on the same machine i don't get the
error, but when i send it remotely i get an error.

Following are the debug messages:

---------------

[email protected]nazeer-laptop:/usr/src/hostapd-0.4.9# ./hostapd EAP_TLS.conf -dd
This is not fair: Configuration file: EAP_TLS.conf
Configure bridge br0 for EAPOL traffic.
madwifi_set_iface_flags: dev_up=0

Interesting.. Which version of git are you using? I used quite recent
version (as in 1.5.0) to import the repository and also for pushing it
to the server. I cannot reproduce this segfault.

  Git repository for hostapd/wpa_supplicant

Author: Jouni Malinen
Date: Feb 24, 2007 18:31

I imported the full CVS repository of the Host AP project into a Git
repository and made this available at w1.fi:

Using git protocol:
git://w1.fi/srv/git/hostap.git

Using HTTP (if git protocol is firewalled):
http://w1.fi/hostap.git

(e.g., to get a clone of the repository you can use cogito with
"cg-clone git://w1.fi/srv/git/hostap.git" or directly with git:
"git-clone git://w1.fi/srv/git/hostap.git")

WWW interface (gitweb) to the repository:
http://w1.fi/gitweb/gitweb.cgi

For the time being, this repository is somewhat experimental. In other
words, if anything is found to be wrong with it, I may end up
re-importing it from CVS and that will mean that clones of the
repository would likely need to be re-cloned from scratch.

ioctl[unknown???]: No such file or directory

Author: Nazeer Khan

Hi,

I am using hostapd-0.4.9 to configure EAP-TLS with madwifi. I am getting
the following error.

ioctl[unknown???]: No such file or directory

I get this for

madwifi_set_key (priv=0x8081c30, alg=0x8081b40 "TKIP", addr=0x0,
key_idx=1, key=0x8082020
"èþª}½\201h$W\224:Z2P¼\214ZhÇÏóxZ¤R¢\030Ü\225ZÝ\211", key_len=32)

I have checked if addr = NULL => It is changed to ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff in
this function. So the error is not due to the address. Any idea why am i
getting this error.

I get this when the GMK and GTK is generated in "wpa_init()" (called in
hostapd_setup_interface) and key is needed to be set.

Why am i getting this error?

Thank you.

Nazeer
