Wired seems to be faster than wireless at very high speeds. Nature of the beasts. My 1.5 DSL line is close to even-steven between wired and wireless but wired is still a touch faster, but it's practically 56k technology compared to what you've got. Have you adjusted your MTU to accommodate the bigger pipe?
