SQL Server isn't necessary for the Monitoring database. If you do, then everything is OK with the component. You don't have to restart the server, but it doesn't hurt to restart it either. -- Costas

Yea sounds like the amount of time you have already spent doesn't equate to the amount of money spent for a PSS service call. I'm not sure how you are reinstalling everything but let me ask you a few more questions. Are you first removing Monitor and Reporting using Add/Remove Programs/Windows Small business Server 2003? Same goes for companyweb. You are removing these first before you attempt
Hi Allen, Costas, Ok update to were I am at. I have run through the KB829114 line by line and evrything appeared to go ok. However, after restart I still ahve the same problem no company web. The monitoring service was not running on MSSQL server, so I ran through the reinstall of the monitoring system, again, no progress still the same. Di I need to do these reinstalls in any order
