I recently upgraded to KDE SC 4.4.3 from sid along with knetworkmanager (I didn'thave this package before) and comic and weather plasmoid stopped working. As soon as I deinstalled network-manager the problem was gone. I can consistently reproduce the problem: - clean install, KDE SC 4.4.3, knetworkmanager installed, no configuration of /etc/network/interfaces: plasmoid works - manual configuration
