...highest selling rock band anyway. And those record sales were achieved by releasing a ton of singles anyway, which Zep refused to. The Beatles did not very often promote their LPs using singles off of it. The American companies did...hand was not to release their popular songs as singles at all, because that way they sold more albums. Had Zep released their popular songs as singles, they probably wouldn't have had as many album sales.
