BCM Reports Excel Cell Refernce

I imported a BCM report into Excel and copied another worksheet into that workbook that contains other data. When I try to make a cell reference in the BCM report worksheet to the other worksheet I do not get the results of the cell I just get the reference. For example, =Sheet2!B12 is seen instead of the contents of Sheet2!B12, say the number 12. How do I get the results rather than the cell reference to external worksheets to show?
