...When the price was low people would buy gas 3 or 4 times a week. Now, myself included, they only buy once a week. Lower sales means less money and the station owners are forced to close. I saw gas stations in Meriden, Wallingford, and Southington, CT. that have turned off the pumps and locked their doors! I hope the price continues to go down, if not, I'm sure you'll see more stations close as time goes on! High gas prices will hurt us all,...

After reading the Record Journal Newspaper story of Sunday, 6/22/08, "Concerns Over Houses Of Worship In Neighborhoods," all I can say to the people of Meriden and Wallingford, CT. is Been There, Done That! In 1984 when my grandfather died, his farm in Kensington, CT. on Park Drive was sold to a Meriden, CT. Baptist Church.
