... local time one year and 2:00 AM another. It all depends on when the sun crosses the equator of the earth or reached the Tropic of Cancer or Capricorn. My approach would be simply to use March 21 as the vernal equinox (start of Spring), June 21 as the summer solstice (start of Summer), September 21 as the autumnal equinox (start of Autumn), and December 21 as the winter solstice (start of Winter). -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]
