I don't recall that we did much code sharing, though I have a vague recollection of putting one of his images in one of my history slots and copying some bits and pieces over. Gah. It's so tempting to speculate; version control is such a fascinating topic...you might have to start a new ...

... I'm just looking for past strategies. A block that contains the current and previous checksums for all blocks, a word to show changed blocks, and an archive of release versions by date. Kind of vague, but thanks. Did your archive store only changed blocks for each release that was checked in? Or did you copy all of the space allocated for the application code each time you checked in a release? Or something else?

... of the opposite of traditional marketing, which is supposed to make clear what this is and who it's for. But by doing this small-scale thing, everyone thought it was for them, and I think they did it by being kind of vague and letting consumers fill in the blanks. EW: You say that now the consumers are giving meaning to brands. Could you give an example of that? RW: Well, in some ways, the Red Bull example. Another one is the Pabst ...

..., people are losing their homes, inflation is rising and the United States is increasingly isolated from world opinion, just because white voters aren't sure about that whole "change" thing. Ya know, it's just too vague and ill-defined, unlike, say, four more years of the same, which is very concrete and certain. White privilege is, in short, the problem. AlterNet is a nonprofit organization and does not make political endorsements. ...

It's clear that you are unable to carry on a conversation about particulars, which makes your entire case nothing but a pile of vague and unsupported generalizations. I'm curious. What's a rabid materialist such as yourself doing in alt.magick? Is magick about mechanisms these days? Goodness. Mechanisms are so egalitarian, anybody with a few bucks can buy one, ...

There's a brief but vague mention of a greater emphasis on preventing chronic illness and an equally fuzzy paragraph on improving information technology, and ...for the ill, elderly and otherwise costly to insure. ... 6am on a winter morning was comforting oddly enough. 60 years ago, was it BRS then? BRS? No idea what that means. I know it's been a truck yard since the end of the war. At one time it had a petrol station attached to it. The forecourt is still actually there but it's long since stopped serving fuel to the public. I can vaguely remember going there with my grandad to fill up in the early 70s when i was a nipper. MIke P
