... but not fatal. As said before in several threads: I for one can not detect any kind of *causality*. So far no problems with any updates on any of my computers - Vista or XP - (knock-on-wood <!>). I'm really far from denying that updates may play a role in the cases given. But it's not compulsory at all and for sure not the one and only reason. Rainald
