...) Point two: Driving an untaxed car. Yep, thats not allowed either. It would appear that the driver had a business that was failing and had an family arguement earlier that day. Stress has probably led to drinking with these tragic results. Sadly such stress can also lead to a condition known in the US as "going postal" where stressed out people lose it and try and take down others with them. I wonder if this was a factor in this ...

... May 18, 2008 Subject 13 was dead. Enrolled in a clinical trial testing the effects of anti-psychotic drugs at the University of Minnesota, the schizophrenic had killed himself May 8, 2004, in a grisly suicide. Tragic, a U official wrote in a "serious adverse event" memo to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, but suicide was "unfortunately not uncommon in this study population." Unfortunate, but not unpredicted. Subject 13 had...

... this particular case in your own words. It isn't necessarily bad. No, it's not "bad" to have a mental illness. It's also not "bad" to get locked up. It is often troublesome, though. And sometimes tragic. Indeed. But this does not preclude how one who does those things or is involved in such events is not following the line of least resistance. Yet you brought up the term "bad" as if someone had made that ...

They say it's because people aren't asking for the features that would help (such as final procedures), but I suspect there are many users who try this style of programming only to suffer in silence and ultimately abandon the style or abandon Fortran -- both of which I consider tragic. ...You're still stuck on overly simplistic generalizations. It isn't necessarily bad. No, it's not "bad" to have a mental illness. It's also not "bad" to get locked up. It is often troublesome, though. And sometimes tragic. How come animals didn't develop ego as a survival mechanism, or did they and we just can't talk good enough to determine that they did? I'd say that any animal that is aware that it exists has ...
