... but I'm really getting into it as a result of trying it on hot dogs :) I used to have it all the time back when I lived in Germany. When I came back to the States in 76, all I could buy was stuff in cans that tasted of the tin can so I went off it for quite awhile. Then I saw it in glass jars in the stupormarket and decided to give that a try. It's now a staple in my kitchen. My roommate is even a convert. I shall look for that RRS...

No. But there are many things one can neither see, feel, or taste. Such as the Borg. Anything that is not nothing is a something.

... The recycled water coming out of the sink at the Fountain Valley plant looked good enough to drink. Wildermuth didn't press me to taste it, but I was eager for a sample -- to satisfy my curiosity, and to be polite. I filled a plastic cup and took a sip. The water tasted fine, if a little dry; I'm used to something with more minerals. It did cross my mind that any potential health issues ...

My Assam fannings taught me that a second steeping of black tea might be very good. You steep the first mug according to directions, then let the second one steep till it's lukewarm or ready to drink. I tried that with my Java tea, and got a second cup quite weak, but potable. And away from the Malawi, I can now taste the flowery taste in the Java. Still no lava taste, though. Toci
