... 46mm and is secured to the board with those standard little plastic sprung retainers at opposite corners, 55mm apart. I'm not sure if this is a standard size of heatsink and it's obviously not worth spending much money on this card, but if anyone has a decent replacement heatsink then I might be able to use this in a headless server I'm building. Alternatively any cheap & cheerful AGP fanless card would be great. Cheers, Stroller.

... [AJ26]. " SMART error. The disk is new BTW The Vista message is correct - a "SMART error" indicates failure is imminent. Get any important data (photos, letters, emails?) off the disk whilst / if you still can. If the drive is, as you say, new then you will be able to return it to the supplier or manufacturer under warranty. Just tell them, as you told us, that it gives a SMART error and they will accept the return. Stroller.

... for an Athlon XP/MP and it looks like this: http://www.overclockers.com/articles350/ My motherboard is the same as this one, in fact, so I'll have to cut them down as described, but you can leave me to worry about that: ;) http://jrv.oddones.org/athlon.html Not worried about the fan, or the fan-hanger or any of that gubbins - just need the heatsink itself. Email address works, thanks in advance for any offers, Stroller.
