... whether this was appropriate or not. As this was 2 years ago, any idea what became of it? No, unfortunately - the article appeared when I was searching the Telegraph website for the article about the resignation of a number of traffic wardens. -- Only some ghastly, dehumanised moron would want to get rid of the Routemaster. Thank you for confirming my memory was correct :-) Do you have any calculations that could help prove or disprove the colour of the cheese that the moon is thought by some to made of? :-) -- Only some ghastly, dehumanised moron would want to get rid of the Routemaster. ...). May be overkill, though ;-) Someone explained to me once that the speed shown by a GPS receiver isn't necessarliy accurate as you may be driving up or down a steep hill - the GPS will show your speed as though you were driving along a flat road -- Only some ghastly, dehumanised moron would want to get rid of the Routemaster. ...? No Duhng, I think you will find that there is a concensus among everyone that it was the fault of the driver - something that will doubtless be proved in a court of law - she is of course innocent at this time of the charges she is being reported for. -- Only some ghastly, dehumanised moron would want to get rid of the Routemaster. ... motorists are pampered so they must have money to burn. I think the following link helps explain why parking wardens are (were) happy with the low pay. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/2988949/Lambeth-traffic-wardens-quit-over-immigration-row.html -- Only some ghastly, dehumanised moron would want to get rid of the Routemaster. ... It will change as the tyre wears down and as the pressure of the air inside it expands/contracts/leaks. Perhaps a different means of measuring the speed of a vehicle is needed - perhaps some sort of radar signal bounced off the road below the vehicle? -- Only some ghastly, dehumanised moron would want to get rid of the Routemaster.
