... and half a dozen of the other. It's not a matter of clean vs. unclean but of something like 1.5g/mi of that and 1.6g/mi of the other and 1.6g/mi of that and 1.5g/mi of the other. Only the control freaks and the paper pushers who enjoy power in the system would suffer. In other areas like vehicle lighting the ECE regs require better performance than the USDOT ones. The reverse is probably true in things like armrest standards.

You are still confusing "labor" with mechanical work, i. e., foot lb force. Only in the poorest of 3rd world countries is human muscle a factor in anything.
