It's appears to be tin with a copper finish. The image is done is relief and the detail is wonderful. It's 10" tall x 8" wide with a wire on rear for hanging. ... FJ's book of plans and TOS technical manual were the first places that I can recall it being said that the *Enterprise* belonged to that class. As previously noted, Matt Jeffries' line art drawings (one of which was used onscreen in "Enterprise Incident") and the plaque on the bridge set identify the Enterprise as "Starship Class," and anytime "starship" was used in dialog it was treated as if it was something really special.
