... error. You can look up what the initial ME trainer was for RNZAF around the early 60's and let me know. Sorry - - please. Not a worry - but I've SFA on the Kiwis on my bookshelf and a *very* quick whip around on the net suggests only Oxfords. It's entirely possible they may, for training purposes, have had some of them with the u/c locked down. I know some that the RAF operated were fitted with pitch controls...

... know him, for he was one of those critics who open other critics' eyes ā he was admired by everyone from Pauline Kael to Susan Sontag. The one collection of his criticism, called Negative Space, is on every critic's bookshelf, and it's amazing how often it's been quoted, borrowed from, strip-mined or used as a launching pad. ....cgi It is a way to look at your life more clearly. R I've been studying the Kabbalah for around 30 years. I have a complete set of Rashi's Commentaries on the Pentateuch on the bookshelf behind me. I've read the Bible, Old and New, extensively. I've picked my way through the Hebrew bible with the help of Gesenius's Hebrew Chaldee Lexicon. And I don't claim to know anything. I'm still learning new ...

A rare treat to see him on TV, as he's one of my fave cookery writers, and I really respect his stance on not doing his own cookery show ... he's such an odd chap, but I do like him. I've got his "Real Fast Food" on the kitchen bookshelf and it's well-thumbed, there are some really good recipes in there. I've got that one and Real Fast Puddings. Both excellent. -- Bear
