Skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer is my favorites sport. Any Lao or Hmong want to go hiking? You have to watch this video. It is the most incredible hike you will ever experience. Watch it in full screen. Originally built in 1901, this walkway now serves as an approach to Makinodromo, the famous climbing sector of El Chorro in southern Spain. http://www.brightcove.tv/title.jsp?title=1438490562 yy

Now that there are no slam-door trains, I don't really see the need for the long walk which could be used for longer trains but, as you say, there are no platforms long enough at Charing Cross anyway. I'm not sure ifr platform 5 could...

...) [90p with Oyster] Heathrow to East Croydon Taxi to Selsdon Park Hotel or T33/64 (Bus) to Selsdon (near Sainsbury) and short walk to hotel Given the length of the drive at the Selsdon Park Hotel (I've stayed there; good value for money) I'd say that with luggage that would be a distinctly LONG walk to the hotel. X26 and taxi is how I'd do it. Me too. The X26 is fantastic.

This involved struggling to find out where the MRT ran from, catching an inter terminal shuttle, walking for almost 10 minutes to find the station, taking a train from a very impressive station two stops... onto a packed train on another line and having to stand, a change to another line in downtown Singapore and then a long walk. To be fair I could have caught a bus over the last bit but was unaware of the numbers and missed the one...
