The scene where Arbuckle holds a gun to the head of an African-American boy for no other ...

.... I'd like to put in a good word for "The Totville Eye" from the Edison box. Then move to Chaplin, Keaton and early Lloyd. I'm voting for "The Cure," "One Week," and "Ask Father." (Incidentally, the 1920s technically begin with 1921 so you could lump "One Week" with the "teen" films and another Keaton with the later stuff. I'm not saying that's a good idea, I'm just mentioning it as a possibility.) ...

... FATHER are two great shorts. Most of his teens one-reelers are just average for a crowd that has not seen many silent films. Just about all the Chaplin Mutuals are very good to great, except for THE FIREMAN. Most of Keaton's shorts are excellent too, but you can't go wrong with THE BOAT or ONE WEEK. ... fairly early Sennett comedy; a Chaplin Keystone (probably "Making a Living"), a Chaplin Mutual two- reeler, an Arbuckle-Keaton film (probably "The Butcher Boy") and an early Harold Lloyd. The total running time shouldn't go much over two...(if I do it'll probably be "Oay Day"). Certainly a Lloyd (have no idea which one) and a Keaton (probably "Cops"). Maybe a Langdon if I can think of a good one. I'll probably end with a Laurel...
