When psychaitrists visit severely and most very severely mentally ill people like me in order to make sure I am still alive and to make sure they do not get the blame if I am not - what they do is ask a question and then you can see their eyes glaze over and they "swtich" off - do not listen to a word you say and almost take a nap.
