However, ATC will have to get the details for your flight, which may delay you getting a clearance, especially when busy. - and, why do you think the flight was in controlled airspace anyway? AA

A prudent pilot would certainly plan and then implement a SAR time - especially if forced to transit such tiger country in pretty ordinary conditions.
