... below C will do it, and we cannot achieve C, then it's mall time! You seem to be under the mistaken impression that the goal was to make massive particles go the speed of light. Well, they know it can't be done. But they're trying to make them go *fast enough* to cause certain exciting things to happen. -- Timberwoof <me at timberwoof dot http://www.timberwoof.com People who can't spell get kicked out of Hogwarts.

...Let's see now. You deny Special Relativity, yet you cannot explain why simple calculations based on that theory correctly predicted how much the clocks on GPS satellites must be sped up to match ours. I would not pay much attention to you when it comes to physics ... or deciding whether someone is a good scientist. -- Timberwoof <me at timberwoof dot http://www.timberwoof.com People who can't spell get kicked out of Hogwarts.

... bullshit. I simply am sticking to the science that uses single standards like science was invented to do. (use single standards to find variables) not the other way around. So you're religiously adhering to veiws of the world suggested by Newton, Descartes, and high-school algebra and physics. :) -- Timberwoof <me at timberwoof dot http://www.timberwoof.com People who can't spell get kicked out of Hogwarts.

... the Earth based clocks only? I won't be drawn into questions that are posed as two incorrect alternatives by someone who forgets to actually present his proofs and tries to bludgeon me by calling me stupid. :) However, I will adopt your stupid habit of concluding insulting sentences with a smiley face. :) -- Timberwoof <me at timberwoof dot http://www.timberwoof.com People who can't spell get kicked out of Hogwarts.

... the speed of light, its mass increases without bound." The whole point is that because the mass increases without bound, the amount of energy required to accelerate it to the speed of light also increases without bound. Thus it will never achieve the speed of light ... and it will never achieve "infinite mass". -- Timberwoof <me at timberwoof dot http://www.timberwoof.com People who can't spell get kicked out of Hogwarts.

... of the movements and mutual gravitational effects of nearby galaxies? One big question was how fast and in what direction the Andromeda galaxy is moving. We can see where it was 2.5 million years ago. ... on a summer program for high school students. Get a clue yourself. If you had been a scientist working on GPS, you would have fought against the Einstein Switch, and you would have scratched your head to try to explain why day after day the locations calculated by the system were getting farther and farther off. -- Timberwoof <me at timberwoof dot http://www.timberwoof.com People who can't spell get kicked out of Hogwarts.

... science aren't even true. And, of course, your dismissal of the whole of a century and a half of established physics research in favor of your own "correct" version, and your attacks on the character of anyone who disagrees with you, make you look like someone trying desperately to be mistaken for a kook. -- Timberwoof <me at timberwoof dot http://www.timberwoof.com People who can't spell get kicked out of Hogwarts.
