Hello again, Actually, the code below is broken. Allow me to try posting that again. As mentioned before, this allows you to yank into the minibuffer the word at point. Really, what I want to know is, can this be done "out of the box" in Emacs? Hello again, I forgot to write that I am using EmacsW32 version 22.1 with Windows XP. I also want to correct my posting: One brace in my example has slipped onto the previous row somehow. The alignment has to be like that. a = { "first Key": { 1: 1, 2: 3, } } Regards, Koidu
