Outlook 2003: Auto Expanding Folders

Hello all. Is there a way to *stop* Outlook from expanding the folder tree when new mail is received. My Start-Up folder is 'Unread Mail'. When the folders expand, it's a long list making it a nuisance to scroll down the list to view my webmail accounts. Specs: Windows 2000 SP4 Outlook 2003 SP 3 TIA

... in BCC. We have done this using Outlook 2003 for a large number of members (in excess of 200) until recently when the process stopped working. Everything appears to be normal inasmuch as the email appears in the Sent folder, but the member do not receive the email. There are no error messages from anyone.
