... You make it sound like Philiminations are arbitrary. Hardly arbitrary, the history of TAR speaks for itself. There are fit and healthy 50 year olds just as there are unfit 20-somethings. The fact that they haven't had fit fifties on yet says something about the show. Ian (TAR4) was pretty fit and made it into the top 3. Plus, the "older" couple on TAR5 & TAR7 (the names escape me, but still...) were pretty "fit" for their age ...
