...make the passes look good. We did use a family Eurailpass once about a dozen years ago, first class, naturally. We used the pass from Brussels to Copenhagen to Stockholm to Helsinki (it provided a lower cost on the ferry) and some travel within Finland, and then the reverse. I bought the pass after using the Eurail web fares to calculate the savings. Afterward, using realistic fares, I concluded we could have done the trip quite a bit ...

...) and I'd do most of the jumps as overnights with couchette (and I was entitled to a 1eme class couchette where they existed... I got a 3 person sleeping car from Florence to Paris) so the overnights were really pretty comfortable. what I've never done, and a eurailpass gives a discount on, are the ferry's from france <> ireland... that I want to try. -- Hackamore http://www.hackamore.com http://hackamoretravel.blogspot.com

... like "country"...incredibly quiet here. I can see water and Mount Rainier everywhere I go. So for all that, I love it here. I very rarely cross the bridges to the other side of town...and then it's usually to board the ferry or head on south to Port Orchard, Gig Harbor or Tacoma....or to Belfair and on to the Coast. Wouldn't live over on the West Side of town at all. I didn't move to Bremerton to IMPRESS anybody with the swank ...
