Do you cut all the pages out of your favourite books and mix them all together randomly, on the grounds that it might "read well if it combines different books"? No? Well stop fucking arguing, then. Bah, gastronomy isn't an intellectual function. Linear order means nothing....

I wouldn't say it's my favourite book ever - the best works of the greatest philosophers (Kant, Plato, Aristotle, Schopenhauer, one ..., but it's certainly the best lightweight/overview philosophy book I have ever read.
