A little pricey for a paperweight isn't it? Tried increasing video acceleration - nope! Decreasing acceleration - nope! Medium acceleration - nope! It does seem that no one as ever found out how to fix this very important problem! I've seen tech forums dating back to early 2006 and then just kind of fading away without a solution. (I obviously have way too much time on my hands!) Thanks

Thanks for the Inquiry - Yes. I did go to Microsoft. They basically said it was Gateway's problem since it came with my new computer and it wasn't something I purchased separately. Gateway said it was Microsoft's problem since it's a Microsoft product. Basically, it seems to be MY problem since no on seems to know what to do about it. The answer that shows up most in the online tech-forums

Thank you for your response. I have graphic card GeForce 7300 LE version 16.14.10.9371 (which according to Nvidia is the latest update). All of my other programs work just fine with it, even all the gaming programs. Just not the space screensaver.
