We are in GRM + 12:00. When we open System Settings / Formats, there is the right time (and date) showing in Format preview. CRM time settings are fine. For example, when I create new account, "Created On" time is correct. When I change something, the right time appears in Date fields working OnChange event (so, JavaScripting works fine). But Workflow rules show the time 12 hours earlier

What time-zone are you in, the dates may be the GMT (I won't say UTC) of your current time. CRM tends to save dates as UTC. For example, currently in the UK, GMT is 1300, but BST (British Summer Time - otherwise known as Daylight Savings) is 1400. Therefore if I save a date time of 05/05/2008 14:00, CRM will save that as 05/05/2008 13:00 in the database, and the front-end of CRM will correctly

Unfortunately, my question was more technical than theoretical. I do realise it must be something completely different than making a field invisible or getting text data from lookup field. To do this you would need to create an onchange javascript on the account form the call the crm webservice to retrieve the preferred engineer field for that customer.
