I have one of these (two actually - one I use every day as a pepper mill - they make excellent pepper mills, better than any "real" pepper mill). They do work suprisingly well for turkish considering they usually have crude burrs and bearings - in a conical design these are less critical than in a flat burr mill. But I am allergic to all that cranking to get a cup of coffee. When I do use

Actually, a small brass Turkish hand grinder works fine for an occasional brew. I got mine for under $20 quite a few years ago.
