Repost: Please quote my entire post when you reply. I will not answer any more of your posts unless you do so. You didn't do #1 properly. I wanted you to look at OE Help | About, not Windows Help | About. Try again. What do you mean all of your hotfixes are missing? Is "Show Updates" box checked in Add/Remove Programs? Have you installed WinXP SP3 since you first post in this thread

Open OE Help | About | look in Files list and tell me the version numbers of these files: DIRECTDB.DLL, INETCOMM.DLL, and MSOE.DLL. 2. consider yourself lucky if you put your recycling bin inside of MS Access you might ahve a random chance of corruption that's about the best Access could do for you but if you delete it directly; and it's gone? that sounds a lot more direct!
