ok.......i can get the movie clip to load onto the stage using this code: var loader:Loader = addChild(new Loader()) as Loader; loader.load(new URLRequest("ExternalFile.swf")); BUT I dont know where to type the code for my movie clip to load my external file into. the name of the movieclip on the stage is called "ph"......where do i type that to make it work. Sam, Do all the objects in a flash library influence the final size of the flash file, or is it only the objects being used that influence it? Hello guys, Im a noob here.......I've been trying to figure out a problem for quite a qhile now. I have a main flash movie that has a movieclip (content_mc) that loads other movie clips (.swf). The main .swf and all others are placed in the same folder (wwroot).
