We really DO need a Senate! What we also DO need are term limits on those Senators and the members of the House as well. I do not think either was intended to be a career and I think the intent was to take average citizens and gather them together as simply a group of citizens. But - since they ones who make laws are the ones who will be impacted by these term limits I do not expect
