Struth! The final round of the 2008 regular season was full of surprises, not just on the field...but tipping-wise too! Wigan almost pulled off a win at Knowsley Road for the first time in how long? Bradford only just managed to escape with the points at Castleford, while the wonderfully-inconsistent Wire unbelievably conspired to end up 6th, after seemingly having 4th place all tied up.

Hull KR have just beaten Hull FC ...giving Phil L an extreme attack of the jitters Two weeks ago Phil had a lead of pts over Lloyd But since then Phil has failed to add to his points tally, while Lloyd has relentlessly ground him down. Now with just one game left in the regular season... Who`s gonna win ??????? And who`s gonna be in the top 6 Watch this space

Today might be regarded as 'Black Sunday' for our tipsters because all 3 results today went against the tipping trends, which made scoring very difficult for many. How delightfully unpredictable are Castleford, Huddersfield and Quinns. On their day they can go down by very big scores, and from time to time they can turn in a big score totally unexpectedly against just about any side. All three

Struth! This was always going to be a humdinger of a round, and very, very crucial for all those who had pretensions at the top of the Ladder. But watching today`s games was like being on a rollercoaster! Harlequins, eg, stormed into a 22-0 half-time lead against Bulls, only to find themselves 22-24 down with only about 12 minutes left. But they won 36-24 The Cas-Huddersfield game
