You could try installing libx11-dev for X dependencies. for jpg/png/gif try libpng-dev/libjpeg62-dev/libgif-dev. (check the output of ./configure, exactly which headers are needed...) I just installed a Yamaha RX-V2700, and I can get to internet stations ok. When I tried the media player sharing with MP 11, I saw none of my MP3s. I store my music on a Maxtor network hard drive with a drive mapping of P: - When I copied some of the files to the local drive (under c:\documents and setting\all users\shared music - for example) Then the Yamaha could see and play them. This is clearly a Microsoft problem, since this appears on two laptops I own - one Lenovo/IBM and one Dell. Both have exactly the same symptoms. There are also a bunch of posts out there describing the same situation with other hardware. In any case, if the sharing is not going to work, Windows Media Player should produce an error message. The problem is that it is impossible to get
