I know what you mean about "guys" and "normal" - but I'm sure a lot of guys would substitute "ladies" for "guys"... It is beautiful up here, in all seasons and all weather. YMMV as to whether gold will be useful. Now, in my neck of Ozark woods, if TSHTF, they wont be coming to my house, but head for the rich target zones like the condos and mcMansions on the hydro reservoirs. That's where they expect to find the gold. More important than whether you have gold or food, is whether you live in a homogeneous community that will pull together while the raiders hit
