This has been all over the news so no sense reiterating.
The point is this incident is ideally timed and will be used as a perfect
excuse to clamp down on all bus passenger travel in terms of increased
"security". Engaging in "environmentally friendly" bus travel now opens the
door for pre-requisite airport style security even though this is, and
always will be, an extreme isolated lone incident. Only the family cares
about the dead, the authorities care about furthering their regulation,
control and taxation at their expense.
The psychopath who chopped the innocents head off will further penalize the
taxpayer $100's of thousands in jail costs for the rest of his life. Bad for
the taxpayer, great for law enforcement, socialized reform programs and for
the mammoth prison business.
Mr Hunting Knife should be speedily tried and convicted then taken out for
public execution via firing squad. It's an absolute tragedy for everyone a
situation didn't arise where the pigs needed to kill him.
That would be justice brought upon the guilty, instead of rape of the
populace.

Hells Angels win in court
Outlaw bikers don't have to reveal financial records, offshore
interests
Kim Bolan, Vancouver Sun
Published: Monday, July 21, 2008
Dozens of high-profile B.C. Hells Angels, associates, wives and
girlfriends have succeeded in getting the taxman to withdraw demands
for detailed financial information about their earnings and assets,
including any "hidden" outside the country, The Vancouver Sun has
learned.
Law-enforcement agencies are increasingly going after the assets of
gangsters in an effort to combat organized crime. The decision to
withdraw the demand for disclosure in the Federal Court case would
appear to be a setback to these efforts.
The two-year court battle apparently inspired a similar tactic by the
notorious United Nations gang, which is also challenging demand
letters issued by the Canada Revenue Agency.

Does anyone know of a local provider of Clearbra or something like it? Its a
clear film for the front of your car. Meant to act as a "invisible"
protector against rocks etc...
Wife got a new car which is low to the ground and so far we have 2 large
chips in the last month.
How much is this stuff to apply? Can it be done at home (should it be for
that matter?).

Cleaning out the garage, have a whole bunch of various materials all
sorted. I've got two piles that bother me a bit. A bucket of ABS parts
(old and used), as well as some plastic from a printer, various plastic
bits for other things. Should those just hit the dump, or is there a
better place for them?

Hi guys,
I'm planning on installing aluminum soffit and fascia on my garage. The
garage is ~20 years old, with existing wood soffit and fascia which hangs
1.25" below the soffit. In other words, the soffit is countersunk approx
1.25". The soffit and fascia look similar to this:
http://www.kurowski.com/dreamhomes/construction/Belle_Vista/photos/114_1468_RJ.J... .
After doing some reading I have come up with two questions for which I can
not find an answer.
1) According to the installation guides the J-channel is screwed/nailed into
the existing soffit along the garage wall, the soffit is cut to the
appropriate length, then placed into the J-channel and the opposite end is
screwed/nailed into the into the bottom of the fascia board. Kind of like
this: http://www.rd.com/18262/article18262-6.html (look at the last pic).
However if I did that my soffit would be at an angle due to the extra 1.25"
of fascia board, which would look like sh*t. So, how would the pros handle
this problem?

Driving down Os going south from Broadway and I noticed a camera set up at a
non-light intersection. Does this monitor speed as well as the diamond lanes
or?
And as I'm writing this I'm getting a sense of deja-vu ...maybe someone
already posted and I'm just forgetting?
