Yo people.... in a bind. I need to ship a 2.5" pocket drive to Calgary
really fast (like, if it got delivered Thursday morning that would be
great). Any suggestions for who to ship with? it's less than a pound,
and I want to put $100 insurance on it.

Puralator, FexEx ? DHL.. I don't ship things very often, and certainly
not with such a tight deadline.

The drive has about 70 GB on it, so uploading the files to any type of
server we have access to is out of the question.

assault.

Alan Yusim, 54 was charged with criminal assault, as well as dangerous
operation of a motor vehicle.

He had dragged a female court bailiff several feet with a van, which the court
official was seizing.

Now, Yusim wants to take a 'leave of absence to deal with the matter.

Not only did CJN carry the story, so did zyd-owned Winnipeg Free Press, so the
story is completely true.

An interesting BBC programme on residential grow ops in Canada.
Or more specifically in B.C. where it's estimated there are 20,000 of
them just in that province alone.
Mind blowing, so to speak.

A friend asked me about these two games. I wondered if anyone knows a source
for them. I think Duke Nukem was always Public Domain (or Shareware), but
I'm not sure about HHGTTG. She has a Mac so she may also need some sort of
emulator if they don't exist for the Mac (I'm guessing they don't).

Hey all...anybody have the Lasik corrective laser eye surgery at Lasik
MD Vision on Main? I see their ad in the Sun every day and the prices
sure have come down a lot (starts @ $490/eye). It's getting awefully
tempting.

Looking to hear any good or bad about these guys.

So we heard the complaints before but today one
came close to getting himself killed.

I'm stopped at a crosswalk waiting for pedestrians
to cross. They get across. I look right, look left
and go. Well yet another moron on a bike had
passed all the stopped cars on the right and
turned left in front of them. Traffic had already
started to move and he fell off his bike just
before he got hit. Then he promptly got up, hopped
on and rode across the rest of the crosswalk.

WTF.

I am going to buy a new GPS potable system for my car because i am moving
out of town.
Does anybody know which one is best to buy for Garmin GPS? any suggestions
or critiques? pros and cons?

Does anyone find this a bit creepy ?

It's almost like the Dads are standing guard at the Gates of Labia ,
forbidding penis entry until marriage.

It give you the impression that they OWN their daughters, their
sexuality and all that goes with it. And just the kid saying they won't
fuck around isn't good enough. The pledge of virginity must be made
publicly, and the reward for staying pure is a charmed evening ball.

Makes my skin crawl.
