The Vice President, Finance is responsible overseeing and directing all financial aspects for the TotalSource business while safeguarding the Companys assets and maintaining/enhancing a strong control environment. This includes the Companys controllership functions, sales control, maintenance of the accounting records and the preparation of financial reporting in accordance with corporate and legal requirements. This role also encompasses the development and interpretation of financial plans, monthly financial reports and financial forecasts. Specific reporting requirements include; Quarter 1 Review, Operating Plan, Monthly close and Forecast Reporting and Strategic Business Plan reviews. The role oversees the sales and operation control functions and the overall internal control processes and procedures for TotalSource. The role will oversee compliance with financial and accounting policies and Sarbanes Oxley compliance. Essential Functions The essential functions of the position are noted below with the corresponding percentage of time dedicated to this function as compared to responsibilities in total. 1) Monthly Reporting, Forecasting, and Business Analysis (25%%) - Primary role is to ensure the TotalSource financial results are presented in a timely accurate manner with clear and concise explanations of variances to plan, prior year, and prior forecasts. Identification of opportunities and development of contingency plans to ensure plans and financial goals are achieved is essential. Oversee the monthly forecasting process for TotalSource including analysis and reporting to management complete information regarding results of operations and financial condition of the division, including cash flow and investment components. 2) Q1 Reviews / Operating Plans / Strategic Business Planning Processes (Internal Controls) (25%%) - Primary role is to serve as division lead on developing Q1 Review, Operating Plans and Strategic Planning process for TotalSource. . Ensure the market achieves the reporting timetables for the business unit, reporting hierarchy and ADP Corporate requirements. . Prepares the annual capital budget and is responsible for the establishing a local capital expenditure policy in compliance with the Companys policy. 3) Consolidation / Statutory Responsibilities (20%%) - Manage all TotalSource accounting and consolidation processes including Corporate Consolidation, Balance Sheet Analysis and Reporting, Prepare quarterly summary of TotalSource business and financial activities used by the Vice President, Investor Relations, CEO and CFO in addressing external financial analyst. Responsible for responding to one off questions from the external financial analyst. 4) Internal Controls / Policy and Compliance(15%%) - Primary role is to safeguard the Companys assets and oversee the Divisions financial controls including assessment of the control environment and if necessary, development and implementation of changes to controls to strengthen the control environment. Liaise with Internal and External Audit to ensure controls are tested and effective. 5) Special Projects / Ad-hoc Analysis / Acquisitions (10%%) - Conducts special projects and assignments as required. Examples include process re-engineering initiatives or other investment evaluation including facilities, cost reduction, or new product and pricing analysis. Additionally, assist the divisions Business Development group in formulating and reporting on new acquisitions and the integration of acquisitions into the business. Team with the Information Technology Group in the implementation of system enhancements. Develop and assess ROI for all IT investment projects. 6) HR Management (5%%): - Recruits, trains, develops, disciplines and dismisses staff as required within budget and legal constraints and at all times consistent with good employment practices and Company policies.

QualificationsRequired (Experience, Skills, Academic): Qualifications . Minimum B.S./B.A. degree in Accounting or Finance . 12-15 years experience in financial management required. . CPA / MBA with emphasis in Accounting / Finance Internal/External Audit recommended . Familiarity with operating and reporting structures of Employer Services and thorough knowledge of ADP financial policies and procedures is recommended. Scope of Responsibilities The position is responsible for the consolidated activities of the Total Source business unit valued at approximately $1B in total revenue, $290 million in processing revenue and $110 million in Net Operating Income. The position will have overall responsibility for the financial aspects of the Total Source businesses. The PEO business within Total Source is under significant scrutiny because it is reported as separate segment in the ADP, Inc external financial statements. Therefore, this position would have a greater exposure and accountability then other direct reports to the SBS CFO, SBS Executive team and to Corporate management.
