Testing Team Lead/Quality Assurance Coordinator

Job Duties: - Supervise testing and support activities within
location. - Coordinate activities with management staff to determine
work priorities. - Implement testing procedures and best practices to
testing and development staff. - Review test plans of test team
members and provide feedback. - Evaluate and test new software
programs to make sure they work as designed by developing test plans,
simulating how an average user would put to use the new program, and
examining designer specifications and user requirements to uncover
bugs. - Communicate problems encountered during testing and suggest
solutions for fixing bugs. - Record, investigate and evaluate
production problems by understanding the sequence of commands that led
to the reported problem. Duplicate the problem in the testing
environment and perform in-depth tests in order to diagnose the bug. -
Offer suggestions to make application interfaces friendlier to users.
- Discuss areas of impact, testing methodology, requirements, and
problem resolution with business analysts, business users, and
programmers. - Coordinate sign off efforts to move projects into
production. - Create a set of regression test cases, so they can be
automated through test tools. - Use automated test tools to facilitate
regression testing.

Skills Required: - Requires a bachelors degree or equivalent
experience - Two to three years of insurance experience required -
Strong PC proficiency - Strong organizational, time management and
analytical skills - Strong oral and written communication skills -
Previous experience in testing preferred - Previous experience using
automated test tools a plus
