Software Quality Engineer

The Software Quality Engineer will perform all aspects of Software
Quality Engineering for assigned programs. This includes 1) Performing
Quality Audits of Program Management and Engineering (SW, HW, Systems)
work products to ensure a quality product and adherence to our's
procedures, processes, and contractual documents. 2) Reviewing
engineering work products, such as, SOW, Requirements Documents,
Software Development Plan, Design Documents, Integration & Test plans,
Test procedures and Test Reports for adherence to above. 3) Witnessing
Software/Systems testing to ensure the product meets our's standards
of quality and reliability. 4) Assisting in gathering Quality metrics,
and generating monthly reports. 5) Providing QA oversight for assigned
software suppliers. 6) Providing feedback for continuous process
improvement. 7) Updating SQA procedures and process guides.

Requirements Successful candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field.
Excellent written, verbal, listening and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills. Software engineering
experience in all phases of project life cycle. Knowledge of
software / systems engineering process models. Experience in
requirements analysis, RTMs and requirements management. Knowledge of
Software Configuration Management. Knowledge of C and C++. Must be
able to multi-task. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be capable of
obtaining a government security clearance. Software Engineering with
some management experience preferred. Knowledge of SEI CMM/CMMI, ISO
9001 and AS91000 desired. JAVA experience a plus.
