Software QA Engineer

This position will be primarily responsible for performing
qualification (quality assurance) of products during the product
development and post development phases. This includes developing test
plans, test procedures (including automatic test scripts), setup of
equipment, the execution of tests and the logging and tracking of the
test results and design defects. Provides second tier technical
support to the Technical Services Department or end users. Conducts
reviews through the various development phases to monitor the process
for deviations from the design and customer requirements documents.
Mentors and trains junior and intermediate level Integration & Test
Engineers.

Skills and Qualifications:

· BSEE or BSCS or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Experience developing and utilizing automated test scripts for MS
Windows applications using QTP, WinRunner, Rational Robot or similar
tools.

· Very good communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Knowledge of database design and access mechanisms, such as ODBC.

· Very good interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team as well as
independently.

· Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a
wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

· Ability to travel on occasion.

Desired Skills:

· 4+ year(s) experience installing, testing and verification of MS
Windows based software.
