Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to): # Execute the
Automated Regression Test suite on project maintenance releases. #
Generate Test execution reports to management. # Develop and maintain
automated test cases via HP's QuickTest Professional (QTP) on external
and internal web-based applications. # Participate in script reviews.
# Report issues/bugs encountered in a detailed and orderly manner.
Routinely review bug tracking logs to identify patterns in software
issues. # Define, create, and document common functions that will be
used by Regression and Functional automated test scripts. # Contribute
to our existing Object Oriented Automation Framework evolving around
QTP. # Evaluate and improve approaches to testing strategies and
script development.

Requirements: # Minimum 2+ years in Quality Assurance and 1+ year in
QA Automation experience required. # Working knowledge on QuickTest
Pro (QTP) or other automated tools is required. # Working knowledge on
HP's Test Director / Quality Center is a plus. # Ability to analyze
the automated test results with confidence. # Ability to propose or
point out items for improvement. # Ability to represent the QA
Automation team on project meetings. # Experience and willingness to
execute manual testing on an occasional basis is required. # Working
knowledge of a standard defect lifecycle and a bug tracking system is
required (JIRA knowledge is a plus). # Intermediate level of
experience using Windows operating systems, plus basic competency in
the use of Macintosh computers is required. # Web Based testing
experience is preferred.
