Lead Software QA Engineer

QA Software Engineer

Responsibilities: The person in this position will be required to
develop automated test scripts, including supporting documentation,
using Mercury QTP to provide regression test coverage for a variety of
production systems and services. Will also perform a variety of
configuration management tasks that include working with software
development teams to develop and document scripts for software builds,
deploys, installations, rollback and hot-fix installations. Knowledge

* BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work
experience

* Must have at least 3-5 years of software testing experience,

Job Description:

This Software QA engineer position will perform a wide range of testing
on network management tools and applications. Duties include writing
test cases based on high level test plan and requirements, executing
test cases, analyzing results and detecting errors using defined Bug
Tracking system, recording and reporting test results using test plan
management system. This position requires interaction with development
and support teams in a geographically distributed team environment .
This position is expected to participate in Quality Improvement
initiatives with other team members

Technical skills:

- 5-7 years QA experience in testing Web applications: frontend and
backend (manual and automated) and understanding QA methodology.

- Programming experience desireable(experience in Java or C++).
