This person will contribute directly to US Card and Small Business customer management business by working on IT / Process development strategy execution and delivery for the business. This job provides the opportunity to be a central player and display strong ownership of a business-critical process while applying both technical and relationship management skills. The individual will partner closely with the business analyst and process manager community on the development, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of our strategies with the strongest focus on execution. They will also have the opportunity to identify and implement improvements in the campaign operations processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide leadership in the data infrastructure space for campaign execution.

• Identify process needs and improvement opportunities, develop solutions, get them accepted and coordinate their execution in a continuous improvement environment.

• Provide vision & leadership in support of customer management data projects, processes, analysis and reporting.

• Support the implementation of marketing strategy through campaigns.

• Support data analysis/mining needs for the business.

• Provide technical mentorship for junior Data Analysts / MIS Analysts.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1 year experience with SQL queries and data analytic techniques

• 1 year experience with data stores, data warehouses, or relational databases

• 1 year experience as analyst (data analyst, operations analyst, business analyst or equivalent)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Unica Affinium Campaign

• Experience with process improvement and ongoing process development efforts

• Advanced hands-on Teradata skills (SQL) / data analytic skills

• Experience programming, conducting analysis, or application development

• Experience using Teradata, UNIX, SAS, Oracle, Korn Shell Scripts, and/or Visual basic

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills

• Strong innovation, problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Collaborative partnership skills for working with various points of contact and teams in the department

• College degree

• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, and concurrent projects

• Ability to help influence & guide management to achieve end-state reporting & analysis needs

• Strong project management skills, ability to influence cross-functionally in rapidly evolving business environment
