JOB SUMMARY:
Serves as GSSEL (Global Safety Surveillance Epidemiology and Labeling) training liaison with Accenture Learning as part of Research Learning Services (RLS) and functions as primary point of contact for all GSSEL training initiatives. Works within GSSEL to understand all GSSELs training requirements and ensure the centralized training services function has the appropriate input to meet these needs. Identifies appropriate GSSEL subject-matter experts (SMEs) for training material development and delivery. Provides central coordination and management of crosscutting initiatives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works closely with Accenture RLS staff and GSSEL staff to align GSSELs strategic objectives and to identify and develop business cases for new and current GSSEL learning investments.
Develops and represents GSSELs training requirements, initiatives and priorities as annual planning input. Manages training budget and prioritizes learning requests for GSSEL.
Identifies events that require training support (e.g. compliance, regulation, application or process introductions or updates, business issues or performance improvement opportunity, etc.)
Coordinates and manages appropriate SME involvement for both content development and delivery. Provides direction and guidance to SMEs relative to content development and delivery.
Works with GSSEL senior management to develop and maintain core-training requirements for their respective business units. Reviews and approves preliminary Learning Briefs within agreed timelines. Provides detailed volume, location, timeline and audience requirements.
Provides central coordination and program management support for GSSEL cross-functional and inter-department process initiatives, ensuring effective communication of project objectives, timelines and accomplishments, providing appropriate updates.
Ensures accurate training programs and documentation to meet compliance and regulatory needs.
Determines which learning programs are best for CBT vs. trainer-led programs
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
B.S./M.S. in scientific or related area. Must understand Business roles in GSSEL.
Training strategy and theory as well as training delivery. Must have excellent planning and organizational skills.
13 years post BS/11 years post MS training experience, including Training Management experience. Must have a general knowledge of the business functions and have the management skills to work at all levels of the organization, handle budgets, and negotiate for department needs. Must have excellent negotiating skills and decision-making skills. Must have strong problem-solving skills.
