Description: This is a position which may be filled by either a Clinical Nurse Specialist, a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, or a Physician Assistant. responsibilities involve an expanded patient-care role in the Department of Pediatric Neuro Surgery. The Pediatric Neuro Surgery APN provides peri-operative and intra-operative services for both in-patients and out-patients. Minimum Education: Graduate of a Nursing School or Physician Assistant Program, Graduate Program for Clinical Nurse Specialist or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Licensed in one of these vocations by Colorado Board of Medicine or Nursing. Current Colorado RN license (CNS or Pediatric Practitioner) or Colorado PA certification and certification with NCCPA. BLS, PALS Minimum Experience: At least 2 years care of Pediatric patients and/or Pediatric Surgical care preferred. Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 lbs of force occasionally, or 25 to 50 lbs of force frequently, or 10 to 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects., Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to clients or to the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly or quickly.
