Power Engineer

Essential Functions:

Experience to include: development, design and qualification of state
of the art switched-mode DC/DC power supplies, intelligent battery
chargers and some bulk AC/DC power converters. The candidate should
have 5 or more years experience with selection of switching power
supply suitable topology for the applications, including intelligent
battery charger circuits for different battery systems, application and
a working knowledge of design and computer design/simulation of
switching power circuits and linear and digital sub-circuits with
microprocessors, power semiconductors, magnetics, control ICs and
qualification, and DVT testing.

This position requires a thorough theoretical understanding of power
supply topologies, feedback loop types, compensation methods and
testing of frequency and time domain transfer characteristics of
switching power supplies.
