Computer Scientist/Programmer, Performance Analysis Team
At ITA Software, the Performance Analysis Team will focus on
evaluating and improving our industry leading products' performance
capabilities. Team members will be responsible for testing orthogonal
properties of our code such as latency, throughput, scalability, and
security. They will also be responsible for instrumenting our source
code to facilitate large-scale automated debugging and testing. This
position is cross-listed under Quality Assurance.
Responsibilities:
* Support the initiation, planning and execution of performance
analysis and the creation of in-house automation test tools
* Recognize critical technical, architectural, project, and business
issues and escalate them to management
* Develop deep product knowledge to test and analyze performance
changes to customer-critical features
* Collaborate effectively across the diverse team of QA engineers,
automation experts and analysts

Data Specialist
A Data Specialist will work as an integral member of the Data Team,
maintaining up-to-date airline industry data for ITA Software's
products. Responsibilities include entering, modifying, and testing
airline industry data for daily releases.
Additionally, the Data Specialist will monitor several aspects of the
health of the data. This includes diagnosing specific customer and
internal data complaints to determine whether the problem is pointing
at some deeper issue with the overall health of the system. Another
aspect of the job will include analyzing data processing logs and
helping to determine if the data processing code will need to be
modified or if the data vendor needs to be contacted to fix the data.
The job will require working with various groups within the company
when a problem, flaw or potential improvement is found, so that they
can develop and implement a solution. It will also require working
with customers and data vendors.
A successful candidate will be detail-oriented and well organized.
